Typhoon Nari leaves 15 people dead or missing, thousands homeless in Philippines
October 12, 2013 - Typhoon Nari moved out of the Philippines on Saturday, leaving in its wake 12 people dead, three missing and more than 6,000 homeless as well as extensive power outages, authorities said. Five people were killed and millions have been left without power by Philippine typhoon Nari.
The storm made landfall on Friday evening in the eastern-central Luzon province of Aurora.
Power outages were reported in five provinces in Luzon and roads were rendered impassable due either to heavy flooding or fallen trees.
