Celebrity chef, Chef Max Hardy (personal chef to Amar'e Stoudemire of the New York Knicks) and his foundation, One Chef Can 86 Hunger fed the low income community in The Bronx on Saturday, October 12th, at the Police Athletic League, Inc. With their Community Celebration starting from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. One Chef Can 86 Hunger will provide packaged meals, DJ Parallel and the WBLS Street Team, special celebrity guests, fitness activities for the kids and share information about the hunger crisis in not only the world but in our own backyards.
The community celebration is to bring a community together, young and old, to have fun, and learn ways to keep our children active, healthy and feed as many people as possible. Admission to the community celebration is free, other celebrations are scheduled for Brooklyn (October 19th) and Harlem (October 27 with Amar'e Stoudemire).
