    Typhoon Nari Heading For Danang


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Australian expat MarkEcott lives in Da Nang, Vietnam, and shot this video Monday morning of waves crashing ashore due to Typhoon Nari, which is currently heading for Vietnam and China. He says he has stocked up on food and flashlights as power is cutting out intermittently.

    Monday Moring 6am. Danang, Vietnam, is now on high alert as Tropical Depression Nari is bearing down on the central coast of Danang. High winds are already being experienced. When Nari crosses land later today/tonight winds are expected to be strong and damaging, at times reaching 100-115kmh. Residents should take precausion and stay indoors until conditions ease. This is Danang's second typhoon in as many weeks.
