Go-Getter Books continues to fulfill its social mandate by providing 25% of its sales proceeds to one of its worthy causes – The Make-a-Wish Tri-Counties. “We have been fortunate and blessed to have so many good books made available to us from our library partners, including various Los Angeles County Libraries and the San Francisco County Public Library,” said Mitch Freeland, President and CEO of Go-Getter Books. Mr.Freeland continued, “Without library support we are unable to have these huge events and benefit Make-a-Wish and our other causes.”
“Make-a-Wish Foundation has been a favorite cause of mine since my early 20’s when I was a volunteer. To see a terminally ill child’s eyes light up when their wish has been granted is pure joy and at the same time heartbreaking,” stated John Freeland, COO of Go-Getter Books. “Everybody should make time to get involved with Make-a-Wish, it’s very rewarding and eye-opening and you will become a better person,” said Mr.Freeland.
Go-Getter Books is making a name for itself by building the world’s largest free book inventory on its website, www.GoGetterBooks.com, anticipating a launch in late October 2013. In addition, to the world’s largest free inventory, the Company is active in buying back books, especially textbook. Go-Getter’s Textbook Buy-back program has been praised by library staff and students for its ease of use and “Best-Buy-Back Prices” online.
