    Bushfire Smoke Plume

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Belgian iReporter halans captured these images of massive smoke plumes discoloring the sky over the Australian city of Sydney last Thursday. "The sky was, and still is, hazy and smoky, like you would expect from a bush fire," he said. A huge swath of wildfires almost 1,000 miles long is burning through Australia's New South Wales state, and firefighters have said they fear the worst is yet to come. Please note: 'The highlights of the sunlight reflected in the building got slightly toned down to get some details out in the windows.'

The bushfire smoke plume and the setting sun provides a stunning, but eerie evening sky across the Sydney CBD.
