Obamacare: Your story
16 minutes for 63 plans. Easier than the DMV.
“I’ve been reading the reports and I was trying to go on today for my daughter, Katie,” said Handel, whose daughter has a limited insurance plan via her employer. “It took about 16 minutes literally. The longest part was you had to get an email to get a password.”
Handel sent in a photo of the website, which shows the 63 health insurance plans her daughter could pick. Her 26-year-old daughter is in the process of deciding which plan she wants.
“It absolutely worked flawlessly at 10:30 in the morning today,” she said. “I don’t understand why people are going crazy. This is what happening with computers and 20 million people signing on at once.”
Have you tried to sign up for healthcare under the Affordable Care Act? Send us your story along with a photo of yourself, or a short video describing your situation.

Plans ranged from $181 a month to $646 with deductibles from $0 to $6,000. Many had $3000 deductibles. Covered very very expensive services for autism, dental etc. Was shocked at how easy this was. Where is CNN getting its info from?
