Amazon has just raised the minimum limit for free shipping from $25 to $35. I often pad food or other items on my orders to get to the $25 limit. Now, unless you are a member of Amazon Prime which includes free shipping, I'll have to pad on more items to reach $35. I understand shipping adds to the costs and Amazon needs to make it up on the total profit margin on a sale. However, I will instead change my buying habits to wait until I need enough items to reach the $35 limit. This may actually hurt smaller sales as I might find the items elsewhere in the meantime. Everything goes up.
