Kindergarten Trike-a-thon Raises Charity Funds
The YCIS Beijing Kindergarten students started their Trike-a-thon a 9am in the morning and in addition to getting some great outdoor exercise, the young students were spread love and charity to children who live in far less fortunate circumstances. Amazingly, the Kindergarten students were able to surpass the amount raised last year, reaching a final total of 9,653 yuan through sponsorship money.
Thus far, YCIS Beijing has built three schools for migrant children in Shandong, Sichuan and Hebei provinces. The proceeds of the Trike-a-thon will go towards building a fourth school for children who struggle to have access to a normal education.
YCIS Beijing’s Kindergarten students, parents and teachers have done a great job and deserve a great deal of commendation for their hard work spreading their charitable hearts across China.
