Mountain Creek Golf Course figures in Asian Golf Monthly’s 2013 Top 10 Best Golf Courses in Thailand
The certificate acknowledging the covetous recognition will be presented to Mountain Creek Golf Course’s representative at the annual Asia Pacific Golf Summit 2013 and Asian Golf Monthly Annual Awards to be held at Shangri-la Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia, on November 6, 2013.
Now into its 14th year, the Asian Golf Monthly Awards is the region’s premier poll of golfing facilities with votes being cast in a total of 28 categories – 10 ‘Best in Asia Pacific’ segments, three ‘Special Categories’ and 15 ‘Country-by-Country’.
Until last year, results were based purely upon online votes from the readers and subscribers of Asia’s only pan-regional golf consumer magazine – Asian Golf Monthly (AGM). In 2011, the magazine added a new dimension to the selection process with the appointment of a 24-strong panel of industry stalwarts located around the region with a vast knowledge of the golfing facilities within their respective geographic areas.
Ms. Ausana Mahagitsiri, Managing Director of Mountain Creek Development Co., Ltd., thanked the readers of AGM and the magazine for voting Mountain Creek one of the 10 Best Golf Courses in Thailand.
“We have developed the course to be of truly championship standard, while ensuring that its design perfectly integrated into the scenic and verdant surroundings. With strategically positioned hazards and undulating greens, it is uniquely special,” said Ms. Ausana, “Highly challenging but equally rewarding, our course will test every club in your bag!”
