1956 Revolution Memorial Day in Hungary

In 1956 Hungary the Revolution broke out on the Day of 23rd October for freedom, democracy and oppression of the communist Stalin regime in the Soviet Union and aginst the intervention of Hungary by Soviet army. Blood and pain and sufferings were followed this glorious Day and the Independence War began for a free country, which was demolished by brutal Soviet forces again.
But now Hungary is a free country in the framework of European Union, this collection of photos was taken in Balatonalmadi, my hometown where is a strong community of politicians, artist and civilians sharing the values of a free, democratic country. Lets remember the heroes of 1956 who died for us to be able to live freely in this country. God bless Hungary!
