Tasty, Healthy Food - Fact Or Fiction?
All in all, diets are now regarded as a way of depriving yourself of certain spoils, taking away some fun from your life and entering in a period of utter pain. Well this isn't necessarily true. On a level this is fully true, but those are diets imposed by your doctor because of various medical reasons.
There is a dark secret that we fail to acknowledge, diets can be tasty and can be a way of life if you choose it right. For the sake of this reading let's define diets as a way of keeping a good general health, a way of healthy food eating whatever it is you want and a way to improve your lifestyle and ultimately your overall state of mind.
Here are a few simple rules:
1. First and foremost, moderation and self-discipline are key to anything in life. Whether you're ready to accept this or not, you have to. It is the only way you will have a good, happy, and healthy life.
2. Don't go cold turkey on everything. What I am about to propose to you is a way in which all you have to do is carefully plan your healthy meals. So basically eating what you like and when you like.
3. Eat fresh fruits or in this case fresh home-made fruit products like natural juices, tea, preserves, jam, etc.
Follow these few simple rules and you'll be set for life! Now, onto the main course. The diet i keep telling you about is a fruit based diet. It is actually more of a way of life rather then a diet. Fruits are important to us. They're also astonishing in ways that we don't actually think of at first. They're easy to eat and/or cook, they're healthy for us in almost any way, and more importantly they will provide you with 70% of your daily dosage of nutrients and minerals (in some cases even more then that).
So remember, eat fruits, fresh fruits, and you'll be able to not say no to your favorite foods as well as stay healthy.
