Fall Colors at Shenandoah National Park

Virginia's Shenandoah Valley is a year-round tourist destination, but fall brings out the region's true colors. The 105-mile Skyline Drive located in the park features 75 scenic outlooks for admiring nature's beautiful colors. And is a must see for fall fanatics! For those who have followed my iReports you already know this year was my first to see and photograph the park during the Autumn season. And since the shutdown is over, I was finally able to see what I had been waiting for, and it was worth it! The views are breathtaking, the colors are heavenly and it was worth every second of traffic. And if you don't believe me, even USA today voted the Shenandoah Valley's Skyline Drive/Shenandoah National Park one of the top ten places to visit during the fall. And if you want to see what it looks like, check out my pictures with this story! The leaves are falling quickly but it's still beautiful and worth a trip, so come visit the valley!
