    Taranaki Garden Spectacular

Taranaki Garden Spectacular is an annual 10-day festival showcasing some of New Zealand’s most stunning private and public gardens.

As one of New Zealand’s longest running festivals each year it offers an exclusive opportunity to experience a diverse range of high quality gardens that are among the best in the country.

Visitors will enjoy strolling through large park-like country gardens, geometric and intimate inner city potager gardens, sub-tropical and rainforest gardens.

As New Zealand’s premier spring festival visitors can experience an extensive events programme featuring spring fashion in the garden, high tea in the garden and tai chi in the garden.

This year’s exclusive landscape design project is an awe-inspiring family of elephant sculptures, crafted from willow and woven over steel frames, who will be embarking on a guerrilla mission, stopping at different locations around Taranaki.

The celebrity speaker event is pegged to be a riveting and laughter-packed night with professional opinionist and TV presenter Te Radar talking about his gardening successes and failures.

Back by popular demand is also the Newstalk ZB garden speaker series and a new event this year – celebrity masterchef Brett McGregor will be demonstrating his culinary skills within a garden setting.

We invite you to indulge in a feast for your senses, borne from the imaginations, inspiration and sheer perspiration of our region’s most gifted gardeners.

New Zealand’s Premier Spring Festival -The Garden Festival - like no other!
