    Tornado at Purdue

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Around 2:45 or 3:00p today, Reema begun filming. The storm was present for a "good four or five minutes." Shortly afterward, she and her roommates received a national warning on her phone. They did take cover in the hallway while the storm passed after she filmed. The electricity around campus is now out. Everyone is O.K.

A tornado just passed West Lafayette, IN a while ago. Never seen anything like it. My roommates and I were terrified. We are all engineering students at Purdue University. Cell phone service is off, lights are flickering and there is no electricity on campus.
