Remembering JFK - 50 Years Later

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     NakedBoyNews told me, 'Today I reflect on how ahead of his time he was. That if we had been able to see him lead our country through his full term that we would have been much further ahead then we are today. Further ahead in human rights, equality and our relationships abroad to name a few.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

50 years ago today, November 22, 1963 JFK was taken from us far to soon. What if he had been able to lead us in a better direction all those years ago?

I was not born when this happened but as a teenager I became drawn to learning more about JFK. I often think about how different our World would be today if he was given the chance to make real change back then.

I recently went to Dallas and took a moment of silence in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, TX. Standing on the X mark on Elm Street gave me chills and for a moment I could feel the intensity of the moment from 50 years ago.

My other photo is of me taking a moment to reflect at the JFK eternal flam in DC.
