    Turkey Drive a Complete Success

'One Meal, One Heart, One Community' Thanksgiving Food Drive A Success
Each Thanksgiving Day, At Hearts Length, helps those seeking food, comfort and hope. The tradition continues as they collected numerous amounts of turkeys during their annual 'One Meal, One Heart, One Community' Thanksgiving Food Drive. At heart’s Length Partnered with a multitude of agencies including The Coalition to House The Homeless, The Suburban Golf Course, and Village Supermarket Inc. to bring Thanksgiving into the homes of people in need. They also distributed more than 1,000 Thanksgiving food boxes and helped to provide a traditional Thanksgiving meal to the homeless. ”“This has been a very special event for me personally,” said Lester Dominguez, Co-founder of ‘At Heart’s Length.’ “We’re proud to be able to get out into the community and help those who are less fortunate.”

In addition, they delivered turkeys with all the trimmings to local needy families in their communities and just in time for Thanksgiving.“We helped to feed nearly 400 people last year and we exceeded and fed even more this Thanksgiving,” says Giuliano Farina, C0-Founder of At Heart’s Length. “Our goal is that all those we helped this Thanksgiving receive the hope of a new tomorrow from the troubles they are facing today. This is the time of year to be full of joy, but most of all, we should be thankful for what we have for families, friends, good health, and strong volunteers “said Julian Acebo, Co-Founder of At Heart’s Length.
Lester Dominguez says, “We would like to thank the army of volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to help deliver and feed over 1000 people in need in the city of Elizabeth. Without our countless volunteers this would not have been possible. Have a healthy and Happy Thanksgiving from all of us to all of you.”
