CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Mtnred told me, 'I was walking up to the laundromat this morning when I saw two bull elk laying on either side of the walkway. I decided it best not to go in between them, so I went around to the right, past a third large bull (not pictured), and in the door behind them. The elk were very calm and not at all a threat to anyone. Several people stopped by to take pictures. They stayed in this spot for most of the day, finally heading off into the field at sunset.' Everyday is an adventure in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado! I was walking up to the laundromat this morning when I saw two bull elk laying on either side of the walkway. I decided it best not to go in between them, so I went around to the right, past a third large bull (not pictured), and in the door behind them. The elk were very calm and not at all a threat to anyone. Several people stopped by to take pictures. They stayed in this spot for most of the day, finally heading off into the field at sunset.
