    "When I saw two opposing elements: old man against a backdrop of destruction, and a young boy on water, I felt that the image symbolizes hope," he says. rvmitra says it's very painful to see the damage following the Typhoon. "The people are still in shock and they are all busy salvaging whatever they can such as wood and tarpaulin (to serve as temporary cover for their houses because it's still raining there)," he says. "The people I talked to admitted that the relief is not enough. Food and water are scarce. And they are desperate."
