Christmas Parade in New Plymouth, New Zealand

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JherryPhons captured these photos at the annual Christmas Parade in New Plymouth, New Zealand. "The weather wasn't that nice when the parade started. It was drizzling and the clouds were dark. But the weather didn't stop thousands of kids and old alike to line up the street waited for the different floats decorated with different colours of Christmas," he says. JherryPhons says the most exciting part of the parade was when kids were shouting, waving and greeting everyone with a "Merry Christmas." "The excitement and the happy faces of the little children during the parade were really one of the best noticeable scenes. And of course, many freebies like lollies, chocolates and discount coupons were given to the crowds," he says.
