    Police Helicopter Crash glasgow

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     When Richard Williams, 34 of Renfrew, Scotland, heard that a police helicopter crashed into the roof of a pub in Glasgow, he drove to the scene on Friday night. He took these photos at about 11:15 p.m. local time -- about 45 minutes after the crash took place. Williams says he was able to get approximately 200 feet from the crash site, but couldn't get closer because several roads were closed and law enforcement was standing guard. "Emergency services were using aerial platforms to try and access the wreckage with about 50 police officers, 40 fire brigade officers and several ambulance crews," he says. "There were also specialist search teams on the roof of the building."

Police Helicopter Crash into Clutha Pub in Glasgow on Friday 29th November 2013 @ 10:25pm.
The scene when I arrived around 11:15pm was total carnage but very organised.
All emergency services were on scene including Police, Fire, Ambulance and specialist search teams. Fire Brigade were using aerial platforms to gain access to the roof of the pub.
Several roads were closed and cordoned off with Police standing guard at several points along the route.
