    Getting to Zero – on World AIDS Day

    “Getting to zero” is the theme of World AIDS- Day, commemorating today on 1st December . This epidemic shaken the world without having any curable redress for it but thankfully remedy invented to control this pandemic.

    Precaution is better than cure . People should be aware of the causes of this HIV infection . They are –
    Blood , saliva transmission .
    Mother to child .
    Illicit drugs .
    Unsafe sex .

    Because of high alertness , international organizations , governments and private organization’s ceaseless strive brought death toll down . Media plays pivotal role in changing attitude of both the patient and his/her surroundings .

    Observance of this day is more than honoring whom we lost. Should take action how to prevent any more loss of lives . In the words of US secretary of state “ our work is far from finished but with a sustained focus on strengthened results and shared responsibility , we can get there “.
