    Christmas Market at Old Town Stockholm


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Visiting the Christmas Market in Stockholm, Sweden has become an annual tradition for mastok. He says people can buy things ranging from cheese and elk meat to Santa dolls and winter clothing. The Christmas Market is popular with locals and tourists who visit each year. "Christmas Market very popular in Sweden," he says. "After visiting the Christmas Market, people can take a walk around Old Town via the illuminated alleys."     Christmas Market (Stortorgets Julmarknad) at Gamlastan Stockholm


    It has been a tradition for many years to arrange a chrismast market in many places in Sweden. These pictures showing a christmas market at the old town Gamlastan Stockholm. It is usually held at a square at the end of November until the day before Chrismast Eve.


    Lots of people coming to this market for enjoying such a wonderful and colourful day at the market. It has been one of tourists interest to visit this market.

    One can buy such a lots of thing for christmast and present or just drink a cup of warm glögg (mulled wine) a traditional drink for christmas seasons. One can find swedish christmas sweets, smoked sausages, reindeer, elkmeat, and other delicacies. There is also a range of swedish handicrafts and decorative arts of high-quality workmanship.
