I cannot express how I feel right now. The amount of support and encouragement has been overwhelming. I am truly blessed with tremendous friends and family. I want to thank each one of you and let you know how much it means to me.

This entire process of submitting a video and putting my feelings out for the public to see was a challenging one for me. It is hard for me at times to talk about my feelings let alone talk openly about my goals. However, the more I expressed my feelings and thoughts the easier it got to open up more. One of the reasons it became easier was the amount of people that reached out to me. I found that instead of inspiring myself I was inspiring friends, family, former students and former athletes. Knowing that I was having such an impact made it easier for me to tell my story. For that I am forever grateful to each and every one of  you.

I am going to continue my weight loss challenge even if I do not make it to participate in Fit Nation. I am enjoying how it feels to work towards a goal again. I am enjoying the sweat that I haven't felt in a while. Thanksgiving day my daughter Kylee and I went out for a morning run. I know that NEVER would have happened before I made this decision to change my lifestyle.

In closing I want to use a quote that I have told my athletes over and over again, "If you think you can you might, if you think you can't you are right"!
