The Hershey Bears Hockey Club, AHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, had their Annual Teddy Bear Toss Night during Sunday's game against the Providence Bruins. After the first Bears' goal, scored by Matt Watkins, all the fans at GIANT Center, located in Hershey, PA, threw their new stuffed animals on the ice. A total of 12,890 stuffed animals were collected and will be donated to charitable organizations within the Hershey/ Harrisburg area. This is a new record for the Hershey Bears Annual Teddy Bear Toss which goes back to when the team played in the Historic Hersheypark Arena. For more information please visit www.HersheyBears.com.
