    "You'll shoot your eye out!"

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Ryn captured some photos of the Christmas decorations on Thanksgiving at the Fantasy of Trees in Knoxville, Tenn. There are more than 300 designer trees, wreaths, arrangements and gingerbread houses auctioned off at the event to benefit East Tennessee Children's Hospital. "Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves," she says. "The holiday spirit was in full force with the trees and seasonal music playing in the background." In fact, Ryn designed both a floor tree and a table arrangement called "Woodland Fantasy" for the very first Fantasy of Trees event. "As a designer, I appreciated the hard work and beauty of every display," she says.

The movie "A Christmas Story" has become a tradition in most homes  across America. Who could ever forget those famous quotes from Ralphie, his family and friends?  Many have become a part of our everyday conversation.
We visited the annual Fantasy of Tree's in Knoxville Tennessee on Thanksgiving evening. This is an annual fund raiser for Children's Hospital. Over 300 hundered designer tree's are decorated and donated to auction off to the highest bidder. There are also wreath's, table arrangements, vignettes and Gingerbread House's. Live entertainment, vendors and a delicious choice of eats and sweet treats  are available.
It is truly a fantasy to behold and brings the child out in even the oldest.

A few quotes you may remember.

Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] Only one thing in the world could've dragged me away from the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window.

Ralphie as Adult: [narrating] Now, I had heard that word at least ten times a day from my old man. He worked in profanity the way other artists might work in oils or clay. It was his true medium; a master. But, I chickened out and said the first name that came to mind.

Santa Claus: HOOOO... HOOO... HOO... And what's your name little boy?

Mr. Parker: He looks like a deranged Easter Bunny.

Ralphie as Adult: [regarding the note on his report] Oh, no! "You'll shoot your eye out!"?

Ralphie: [Ralphie is shoved down the slide, but he stops himself and climbs back up] No! No! I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!
Santa Claus: You'll shoot your eye out, kid.
