Your spectacular Christmas decorations
My Christmas decorations through the years
"I can't explain it but I love all the glitter and glamor in my decorations," she says. "I have been decorating since I was very small, and first started by using a yoghurt cup with a fern and chocolate papers for decor."

Hi I am Shari Atukorala from Kandy, Sri Lanka (ireporter sunethra)
From the time I can remember, I was 4 years old when my mother used to make me Christmas Bonbon's and and decorate a fern in a yoghurt cup with colourful chocolate paper, that was my first Christmas Tree, gradually as I grew up and the years rolled by, my decorations and collection of Christmas decorations grew bigger and bigger, and today my whole house is decked for Christmas.
Of course, it does not look like those beautiful houses you see in glossy magazines in a foreign land, but still I am told by my friends that no one decorates the way I do for Christmas,in Sri Lanka. I love all the glitter and galmour of Christmas decorations, and need I say more? I go simply nuts during the Christmas Season.
I have always longed to have a train running around the winter village, and when I first started my own train village business ! it was small all decorated with kids plastic houses, today I have a reasonable and very pretty winter village, because of the kindness and generosity of two of my fellow ireporters being Jutka and Janie.
This is my winter village decor, and some decorations around my humble home....
My brother used to jokingly say " I don't think even NY decorates the way Shari does....ha ha ha.... Cucoo, Ammi, Thathi and darling Smokey I miss you so....
I can't view any of the photos here ???
