Labor Security in Nepal's sky scrapper

Kathmandu city, Nepal, is burgeoning city with skyscrapers with one and only international airport. Growing people due to foreign employment opportunities, city life attractions, tourists' interest of local cultures etc.. have attracted millions of people in this city and the building skycrapers looks like as if it is a competition this city between builders, however, geologically, it is highly vulnerable to build such skycrapers. In such a situation, a worker who take tremendous risk in construction are not given an attention which is shown in this picture.

This photo gives the situation of working class people with less security at the top of the building with thin ropes to protect himself. I took this photo from my office, Thamel. Thamel area is a place for tourists. In this picture, on a top of buidling, a man is working on top building wall with little or no support to hang himself.

I took this picture while i was taking a sun bath at the top of my office floor in this winter season. If workers fall, then, it is sure for death and his families would be in disaster scenario, in Nepal scenario, man works to make a living of a family. It is a crisis.
