    Emerson College Honors Ron Burgundy

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Mike Cantalupo, a student at Emerson College, captured this video package after his college announced it was going to honor film character Ron Burgundy by naming its School of Communications to the Ron Burgundy School of Communications for just one day. 'I originally thought it was the coolest thing ever. Some people worried it would ruin the schools integrity, but I think it was all in good fun,' Cantalupo said. He even had a chance to speak to the legendary character, played by actor Will Ferrell, in person during a question and answer session at the college on December 4. 'I felt really confident speaking to him because he was just so talented. I knew he'd be able to work my comment into something hysterical and he didn't disappoint. [Ferrell] never broke character and made everyone feel welcomed,' Cantalupo said.

For one day only, Emerson College in Boston renamed its School of Communications to the Ron Burgundy School of Communications. IReporter Mike Cantalupo was on the Emerson campus to talk to students and others (including Ron himself) about Anchorman.

The festivities ended with a free screening of Anchorman 2 for Emerson students.
