This iReport is part of an assignment:
Wintry weather 2014
Uk battered by storms
Today its the UK's turn, we have a storm surge that is unfolding right now, to rival the devastation of 1953. Wales and the North of England have born the brunt of the flooding. Newcastle city centre has partially flooded with the East coast expected to flood extensively later on into tonight and tomorrow morning.
The Thames barrier has been shit for the first time in two years after the environment agency predicted the worst tidal surge in 60 years.
