    South Africans Air their thoughts and memories of Nelson Mandela

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Angu Bernard Ndifor was outside Nelson Mandela's residence in Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 6, documenting the tributes people were leaving for the former South African president and activist after hearing the news that he had passed away. He says people were coming together to pay their last repects. 'I will always remember Mandela for courage and spirit of forgiveness, building a society where there is bread and water for all,' he said.

    With the breaking of the news late last night of the passing on of former president of south Africa Nelson Mandela, a generational icon. The population kept streaming in at his Houghton residence this morning to pay their last respect.

     

    As the crowd dance and chant in commemoration of their leader, a shrine is being put up for people to share their tributes.

     

    Different media outlets have erected mobile up-link stations to give minute by Minute coverage to this great event.

     

    As the world join South Africa to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela many wonder and pray for the legacy of this once great state Man to live on.
