New Personal Trainer Marketing System Launches in Australia

A new online business specialising in matching personal trainers to clients is about to be launched in Australia

The service will help people wanting to find a personal trainer for weight loss, body building, flexibility, rehabilitation or general fitness.

With an extensive database of local trainers, the service is currently in pre-launch in Point Cook, Victoria, but queries are invited from those seeking gym trainers throughout Australia.

Trainers wanting to get on the database are being offered a complete online system with web site, video and article marketing, as well as a unique text messaging system for lead capture and immediate follow-up.

The system has been designed by Christine F. Abela from Gecko Gully Marketing, an online veteran with an already-huge following in small business marketing in Australia.

Abela, the author of a 2012 best-selling book on online sales promotion, says "Online fitness marketing is something a lot of personal trainers have no idea about. Very few have their own web site, or even a Facebook page. What they really need is a complete client-sucking system, that will work for them 24/7 to bring new clients to them on autopilot. These are very busy, active people. To find time to sit in front of a computer every day is very difficult, and generally they would rather not do it. So their marketing suffers."

Abela is an active member of a gym in Point Cook, and has many contacts there, and through the gym network, who are giving her feedback on what they really need. "So," says Abela. "This system has pretty much been designed by the trainers themselves. They've told me what they need, I've told them what is possible, and all those I have spoken with about it so far have absolutely embraced the idea and are very keen to work with me."

The system is currently in soft-launch mode in the Point Cook area, and will be rolled out across the country during 2014. Since the fitness industry is very competitive, early adopters of the system will see the most benefit, with the video and article distribution services already having a great impact with the prototype systems that have been set up to date.
