    Lenin monument down in Kiev

During ongoing protests in Kiev, group of people pull down Lenin monument on Shevchenko boulevard, in front of Bessarabska Square and Premier Palace hotel.
Statue was brought down and beheaded while plinth is still there. Few people climb on it and put flags on top.

Historical landmarks mustn't be damaged because of protest. Demolishing of historical monuments is an act of vandalism in my opinion.
