Dr. Rebecca Castaneda, Introduces Free Consultations for Smile Makeover Patients

Dr. Rebecca Castaneda, cosmetic dentist in San Francisco, CA, recently introduced free consultations for patients interested in getting a smile makeover with dental implants and other state-of-the art dental technology. During this free consultation at Aesthetika, Dr. Castaneda can determine if patients are good candidates for dental implants and can help them start designing their new smile.

Dental implants have revolutionized the way dentists are able to provide restorative care to patients with missing or failing teeth. Designed with a similar structure to natural teeth, dental implants are structured to be just as strong as natural teeth and last a lifetime.

“We’re proud to offer dental implants to our patients who need restorative and cosmetic care, and have already seen how this procedure greatly improves their lifestyle and self-confidence,” said Dr. Castaneda. “We hope that through these free consultations, our patients will be able to see how dental implants can change their lives for the better, too.”

To complete the dental implant procedure, Dr. Castaneda makes a small surgical incision in the patient’s jaw bone and inserts a tiny metal screw. This implant is given several weeks to heal and fuse with the jaw bone, after which Dr. Castaneda attaches customized porcelain crowns to it. She works closely with each dental implants patient to design new teeth that are the shape, shade, and size that they desire.

Once the dental implant procedure is complete, patients are free to eat a full range of foods without the risk of damaging their new implants. Unlike with dentures and partial dentures, patients no longer have to worry about cumbersome adhesive pastes and strips.

In addition to providing smile makeovers, Dr. Castaneda is also a highly skilled sedation dentist in San Francisco, CA. She has received extensive training in pain and anxiety management for dental patients to provide them with the best experience possible. Dr. Castaneda is also a certified TMJ dentist in San Francisco, CA for those experiencing jaw or facial pain.

Dr. Castaneda received her DDS degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and also completed a one-year residency in New York after graduation. She has been practicing dentistry for 25 years and has also received additional training in prosthodontics. She is a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American College of Prosthodontists. She is also a former University of California faculty member.
