    Meeting Mandela in Atlanta, USA

In 1992, I was a student at Clark Atlanta University doing my Master's degree in Physics. As a South African studying abroad, I was lucky to meet Nelson Mandela, who was there to receive honorary doctorate and for a second chat with Madiba. He ask me where I was coming from, and I said I'm from Durban, South Africa. He also asked what I was studying and told him that I was doing Master's degree in Physics. He said, I quote," That is good. Once you complete your studies, it would bring joy to me if you plough back to the communities at home."
