    Mandela memorial service

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     South African iReporter keswathemba captured these images this morning of mourners arriving at the FNB or Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg, where a memorial service for the late South African leader, Nelson Mandela, is being held. "So many people are going, even old grannies are going in the rain wearing ANC [African National Congress] colors of green and gold," he said. "No-one is crying, everyone feels he had a good fight." He also plans to attend the ceremony, along with thousands of his fellow South Africans and his young son, Snelizwe, who is pictured draped in the South African flag.

Thousands of South Africans descended on Soccer City to pay their last tribute to Madiba on this wet Johannesburg morning. This is the same stadium where Madiba made his last public appearance during the Soccer World Cup in 2010.
