Your New Year's Eve celebrations
My, How Time Flies!
"This picture is a compilation of a few of my favorite things from the holiday time: a special purple birdhouse, given to her Mimi from my precious four-year-old granddaughter; a hat from the New Year’s Eve party; and a sign that would be used to adorn the local high school library showcase," Carol says.
The New Year's Eve of 2008/2009 brings back special memories for Carol, whose family owns a karaoke business.
"We had a house full of karaoke friends and had a great buffet from one end of the kitchen to the other," she says. "The house was filled with laughter and friendship, and anyone who wanted to sing karaoke could do so in the music room."

"Happy New Year" once again! This photo was taken five years ago! My, how time flies! The glittery purple birdhouse was a special handmade gift from our precious little granddaughter! Photography is a great way to record these big memories that seem so simple at the time!
Ah, but the memories are great of New Year's Eve past! Over the years, we have hosted countless New Year's Eve parties at our home--parties filled with laughter, friends and family! These evenings have been filled with lots of glitter, streamers, party horns, food, music and laughter! At midnight, the children toss and toss homemade confetti, which manages to keep surfacing all year long! To welcome in the new year, we proceed to whip up a tasty breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy and all the other fixins to enjoy with our guests until dawn peeks just over the horizon! These good times are priceless! They seem small, at the time, but grow bigger in our memories through the years! Snapping a few pictures along the way keeps these memories forever warm in our hearts.
Happy New Year to you in 2014! May you grow many wonderful memories of good times spent with family and friends! Remember to capture a few pictures for memory sake. You'll be thankful you did!
