This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Severe weather

    Rio de Janeiro totally stopped

After 12 hours of heavy rains the city of rio de janeiro went on alert level 3 by the Operations Centre Hall. The rains caused the formation of pockets of water on the main roads of the city, causing a severe traffic jam throughout the city. Workers who try to reach their places of work are stranded, trapped in their cars or on buses. This problem is old and so far nothing has been done to solve the problem. We hope that by next year, with the advent of the World Cup something done, since this event will occur at a time when the incidence of rainfall in the city is great. Apparently, something is only done in this country when it is of interest to large organizations, to favor them.
