    Marathon for Boston

After the Boston Marathon bombings, I decided it was time that I finally go through and complete a marathon. This had been something on my bucket list that I had wanted to do for some time, but kept pushing it off.
I was doing great with my training, but then lost most of my summer due to injury. I was about to scrap running in the Philadelphia Marathon, but I pulled myself together, trained to the best of my ability for 6 weeks, and ran in the Philadelphia Marathon.
I may have not raced the race I had wanted to, but I completed it, and this is now something that I am extremely proud about.
