Salute to all Military
that are abroad and on the home front.
This all started several years ago,on
Memorial Day weekend.
When many Government offices are closed, and with pay, families enjoying family time together, there are many at grave sites, placing flowers, and leaving tears for ones that will never be in physical being with them.
While I was thinking and reflecting of the Armed Forces away, fighting for OUR GREAT Country, and that Freedom is not Free, I took up my Late Uncle's Military Issued Flag, and I started a TRIBUTE WALK, which I walked 25 miles, making awareness of the selflessness that was taken,so that we as U.S. Citizens, can have FREEDOM in this Great Land.
FREEDOM is NOT FREE, and very little is made aware nowadays, to teach ALL of this.
My heart goes out to all, and for the ones that have returned home, dealing with PTSD,or perhaps a Physical issue, I PRAYED to GOD, how one person may not change the World's view on this, but one person can start the Awareness.
So with all that being said, I am attaching one of many pictures that was taken this Veteran's Day, in Brunswick,Ga., just one week after I had a surgical procedure done, I carried OLE GLORY,U.S.FLAG,
on 2 different days,Saturday,Nov.9,2013
and then on Nov.11,2013.
I crossed 3 Bridges and spoke with many about the Purpose and Awareness of this TRIBUTE walk.
Now in early Spring of 2014, I will,GOD WILLING, be riding a bicycle, covering
in 40 days,
to PRAY for all Military,Active and Veteran's,their families and friends that want to be PRAYED for and with.
There will be links for any monetary sponsors, and contributors set up as time approaches, and all this will be going to the W.W.P. 100%...
I was lead to post this, as I prepare to relocate this weekend to start my training, so if you see me Walking in training, know the reason, and
PLEASE, I WILL NOT BE ASKING
NOR ACCEPTING ANY MONEY...
This time is solely training my body,as today i'm 3 days shy of 6 weeks Post Surgery.
I will leave this with sending a shout out to all Military,PRAYING for a prompt and safe return home to your love ones, and I'M PROUD OF EACH OF YALL,Wishing yall a
and a Healthy and Happy New Year..
GOD BLESS AMERICA,
AMERICA BLESS, GOD...
DIOS los Bendigas.
