In memory of Sandy Hoook Elementary School

On December 14, 2012, the world was forever changed for me. Though I personally don't know any of the families involved in the tragedy, I can say that as a mother, a grandmother and a fellow human being, this event rocked me to the core. My grandson was in the first grade when this happened, in a classroom with 20 children, including him. The similarities between S.H.E.S. and his school are uncanny, and all I could think then, and still think now is how it could have been his school. My heart breaks along with the rest of the world for those left behind. The pictures posted are just a small way to show support to the families, friends and community of Sandy Hook. I made these angels and hung them on the trees out in front of our home, and hung them on December 14, 2013. Those families do not stand alone.
