Shoveling Snow with Toddler Shaw in Southern Vermont
Our 20 month old Shaw is learning how to help shovel for the first time! He did a great job. He's helping my wife and I shovel out of about a foot of fresh creamy powder snow that wafted down in calm winds last night here in Brattleboro, Vermont, USA.
Brattleboro is in southern Vermont, about 10 miles from the Western Massachusetts border. It's late morning here as we get our exercise with the neighbors before a lunch break for us and a nap for our son Shaw. We've got to shovel out before the snow gets packed down from walking and driving on it, which makes it very to shovel for the rest of the year. It's looking like a very snowy year here too, so it's extra important to shovel quickly. And you've also got to shovel if you want to get the mail delivered.
Neighbor's Radha and Eric are helping shovel too and have given permission to be on CNN along with my wife Laura and our son Shaw.
