    Homeland Season Finale

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     KCRep told me, 'This episode really blew me away. I didn't see any of this coming. I never thought they would kill off the main character but I guess that's been happening quite often on TV shows lately. I will definitely be waiting for the next season because I want to see what Carrie does about the baby and I have been a fan of Mandy Patinkin since I saw him in "Yentl" years ago.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

If you haven't watched the season finale of Homeland please note this post will tell you what happened. Stop reading now if you don't want to know.

Brody fulfilled his mission with the CIA by killing Akbari but then they basically threw him under the bus. He was captured and publicly hanged as a terrified Carrie watched. It was a slow hanging as he was lifted up in a crane by the neck and left there until he died.

Four months later Carrie was offered a top CIA job in Istanbul. She accepted it but later decided she realized she can't do this job and be a good mom. She told her sister and father that she can't keep the baby (a girl). Her father stepped in and said he will take the baby. As of this episode, she is eight months pregnant.

Saul has been replaced as acting CIA director, he is now out of work and thinking about buying a home in Greece with his wife.

I don't know what the future holds for Homeland but if there is a season four, it will be quite different.
