Credit companies can't reverse unauthorized charges and leaves consumers with bad credit scores. This happened to me with Bank of America. I never authotized a charge for a foreign merchant, Bank of America failed to reverse the payment they have made even after I provided them complete documents to prove I did not use the services of the merchant, left me with the bill that I never received services for, leaving me with a bad credit score.I wonder how many other people have become victims by big corportations by lack of strength to defend for themselves.I am definitely one of the victims and I would like the public to know of this. Here is my story.I went abroad to Europe and rented a car for 37 days through Enterprise in Frankfurt, Germany after making a reservation online through carrentals.com. I have the reservation confirmation email/number and the sales receipt for the rental for 890 Euros. On my credit statement, Bank of America authorized a charge by a merchant that I had never heard of and in UK currency, equvalent to $1, 600. I brought this attention to Bank of America and provided them with my sales receipt and confirmation letter with the merchant that I did use. Bank of America closed my case and left me with the charges and continue to add late fees and as a result left me with a bad credit. Big corporations should not bully consumers with their power to lower consumers' credit for their failure to reverse a charge from a foreign merchant. Please investigate this matter and bring it to attention to the public. Thank you.
