    108 lbs in One Year (Chef Peter Betz)


    One year ago I had an Insurance exam which I failed because I was extremely overweight. I decided at that moment that I was going to change my life. I started removing processed foods and items with a high glycemic index from my diet along with tracking my total calorie intake daily. When I reached my first goal of 20lbs, I started going to the gym, after that the weight flew off and I have never felt better in my entire life. I started in Oct 2012 @ 293 lbs and I am currently 185 lbs and just passed my physical with flying colors. I feel amazing and plan to continue this healthy eating lifestyle forever. Note: I am a Chef in a high profile kitchen in NYC, I thought this would make my journey more difficult but I quickly realized that I had the advantage of being exposed to a wide variety of healthy foods every day.Also- I have to thank my trainer Kalli Malatos & my wife Moriko
