Big Tree Group to Open Toy Sales and Distribution Center in Thailand to Expand Its Presence in the Southeast Asia Market
Big Tree Group has entered into an agreement with Bumrung Muang Plaza Company Limited for the planned leasing of approximately 4,000 square meters of showroom space in Bangkok, Thailand. Big Tree Group intends to use the showroom as a hub for the expansion of its toy distribution business in the rapidly growing Southeast Asia market. Asia currently represents the third largest regional market for global toy sales, trailing only North America and the European Union. According to many industry experts, Asia will become the largest market for traditional toys and games in this decade. As a result, Thailand and other parts of Southeast Asia represent a strong growth opportunity for Big Tree Group in the coming years, making the establishment of a physical presence in the region key to building future regional sales relationships.
Mr. Wei Lin, Chairman and CEO of Big Tree Group, stated, "In addition to building our strong presence in regions such as the European Union and North America, we are targeting future growth from emerging economies. With expectations for strong economic growth in Southeast Asia, especially in Thailand, in the coming years, we expect the toy industry here to grow at a very healthy pace for the foreseeable future as more consumers increase their discretionary spending. We see this as the right time for us to expand our operations into Thailand and establish this center as a hub for our overall growth in Southeast Asia."
