Bald Eagle Doing Well at CWRC

This mature bald eagle arrived at the CWRC exhibiting signs of poisoning. It was given medical care and fortunately responded well to the treatment. Within a week it was feisty and eating well. Once it was well enough it became the first patient in the new Large Raptor Flight Facility that was build over the summer of 2013. It was areal joy to watch this magnificent bird fly strongly and confidently around the enclosure. We are hoping to return it to its home soon.
