    Random Act Of Kindness

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     CarynLaGreca was using a public restroom in Herald Square in New York City, when she found a letter sitting on the sink on December 18. Written on the letter was a quote which read: 'What we gain is good, what we give is more important.' She found the message on the envelope inspiring and decided to open it. Inside there was a card, a candy cane and a dollar bill. She felt moved by the random kindness and says she is planning on paying the act of kindness forward. 'It restored my faith in humanity. A stranger took the time to put the card together to bring a smile to someone's face. It worked! It was a very big act of kindness in my heart,' she said.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Yesterday I was in Herald Square and used the public restroom when I found an envelope sitting by the sink. Written on the envelope was "What we gain is good, what we give is more important". Intrigued by the words, I opened the envelope to find a cute Christmas card enclosed From a Caring Stranger along with a card for St. Therese, a candy cane and a dollar! This was such a small act of kindness by a stranger that truly touched my heart and soul. Thank you to that anonymous beautiful stranger.... I am compelled to pay it forward! Herald Square/Macy's is truly a magical place ....if you BELIEVE! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Photos taken on 12/18/2013
