Thanks for the safe journey,the home comings,the second helpings,the thanks giving and the non-Dutch treats.Thanks for the Birthday cakes,wedding cakes and National cake.
Thanks for the weekends and winks,good news and good grades,controllable hypertension and the uncontrollable laughter.Wine without the hangover and fried food without the flabs.
Not forgetting phrases like "you are looking good" "where have you been all my life" "i am getting married" "i am going to have a baby". Thanks for hiccoughs and sneezes that stop and the hearts that go on.
Thank ypu for our beloved Nigeria,for the president that laughs and the people that smile.Thank you for the journey to nationhood that has overwhelmed us.Thank you for failed suicide attacks,failed kidnaps and diverted robbery attacks.
Thanks for names that made our country "free" like Nnamdi Azikiwe,Obafemi Awolowo and Tafawa Balewa.
Also for names that has put us on some what good records like Don jazzy,Peter and Paul okoye p2,Bangalee (dbanj). Thank you also for Nkem Owoh,Patience Ozokwor and Genevieve Nnaji who are yet to for whatever reason yet to collect their GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD.
Not forgetting Mikel Obi,Jay Jay and for the most hilarious people alive Kevin Hart,Basket Mouth,Bovi and Julius Agwu.
Thank you for Olumo Rock,Obudu Cattle ranch,Eyo festival and the New yam festival.Thanks for 1/3 pound road Aba,Upper Iweka road.Thank you for "UP NEPA" "NO OVER TAKING" "THIS YEAR IS YOUR YEAR OF PROSPERITY" "MY MIRACLE IS ON THE WAY" "POWER MUST CHANGE HANDS".
Thank God for the OGA on the top that ensure peaceful co-existence,religious tolerance and for the North and South that get along.
Thank you for the lecturers that have made their point at the detriment of peoples future,hope and even lives and for the Doctors that are following suit because they have been left behind unnoticed .Thanks for the Jeans that fade and the LOVE OF NIGERIA(our biggest hurt and our only home and hope) that never fades.And for the rest of the world that judges and rates a country they know absolutely nothing about as 3rd world.
Come on!How many 3rd world countries have the richest people in the world in it and not to blow our trumpet but the richest black person alive is from NIGERIA! Yes,I thought so too.
