    Return of Cedar Waxwings

Our Cedar Wax wings return in the cold of winter from the North to feast on fruit and berries. Here one eats a Mountain Ash berry in our front yard.
They arrive in great flocks of 200-1000. Safety in numbers as owls, falcons and other birds of prey attack them while they are eating.
