This iReport is part of an assignment:
Travel photo of the day
This image was taken this morning 19th December 2013 while I was waiting for my train at Dharmadam station. I never wanted to miss that foggy look with the trees giving 3D sort of perspective and fading out at various levels. Please note, this is a mobile upload. Dharmadam is a small town on the North of Thalassery earlier known as Tellichery during the British rule in India. It is surrounded by rivers on all three sides. Dharmadam is also famous for the 100 years old Brennen College and the Dharmadam Island. Dharmadam island is a 2 hectare island which is 100 mts away from mainland. One can view this island from the Muzhapilangad beach which is Asia's only drive-in beach that stretches to an approx. 4-5 kms.
